I’m following up Laura’s Most Loved Gifts post (check out the post here if you missed it!) with my own list of things that I own, use and love! I realize Christmas is a week away and I’m sure everyone has their shopping completely done, wrapped and ready to go at this point, but just in case you don’t, or want some inspiration for future special occasions, feel free to check out my list below!
Bonus: several of these items are still in stock on Amazon, just in case you do have any last minute shopping to do!
So perfect for a coffee lover (or a tea lover- you can store loose leaf tea in here, too!) My brother and sister-in-law gifted this storage canister to us a few years ago and I’ll never go back to storing my coffee beans any other way. Keeps them fresh, unexposed to air, and I absolutely love how satisfying the suction sound is when I open it up each morning! In stock on Amazon ($19.99 for Large canister, holds 1 lb of coffee beans)
This piece of equipment is seriously a life saver. If you have any kind of back/neck pain (which I think we all have had at some point!), rolling out on this wheel brings a ton of relief. The hard notches on the wheel use a trigger point technology that help break up tight muscle fibers in those hard to reach places on your back. Jake and I use it daily and we can both vouch that with consistent use it truly helps relieve discomfort. Our friend who is a chiropractor even gave it the thumbs up which is a huge reassurance in my book! In stock on Amazon ($48)
Okay, I know, I know, its just a hat. But it’s a really good one. Jake got this for me for Christmas last year and I wear it ALLLL the time. I just love the fit and the slightly faded, lived-in look. The link above is for the women’s relaxed fit version but there is a men’s relaxed fit as well. Comes in a ton of colors, too. A great basic that anyone would love, I promise! In stock on Amazon ($22 for women, $26 for men)
4//The Passion Translation Bible and 365 Day Devotional
My mom gifted me this Bible a few years ago for Christmas and it has played a huge role in my faith. If you’re interested in digging deeper into the Bible or looking for a version that is more relatable, I cannot recommend this one enough. This translation reveals, on a whole new level, the character and heart of God and the passionate love He has for His children. There’s also a devotional written by the same translator, Brian Simmons, called I Hear His Whisper: Encounter God’s Heart for You, that would make a beautiful gift as well! In stock on Amazon ($27) Devotional ($18)
We’ve had this system for years now and it’s a winner! This thing is a workhorse for us: we’re always making smoothies for us and the kids and I prep a ton of sauces/purees for meals (and my favorite cashew and date cookie balls!) in the food processor. The sleek design and strong motor base, in my opinion rivals the Vitamix, and it’s half its price! Perfect for the avid smoothie maker or foodie. Unfortunately, looks like it isn’t in stock currently on Amazon, back in stock by the end of the month ($150).
6//Homage Ohio Script Hoodie (or any Homage gear!)
I’ve mentioned my love for Homage before but if you missed it, Homage is a local, Ohio-based company that makes THE coolest and softest tee’s, sweats, and accessories (we love their beanies!) Every single person in my family, including me, owns the above sweatshirt, ha! Even if you have zero ties to Ohio, that’s okay, there is a ton of gear that rep college and professional sports teams, fun pop culture references, and they even have a basics line. Also, who doesn’t love supporting a small business? Some sizes in stock on Homage.com ($68).
7//Homebody by Joanna Gaines, and other beautiful coffee table books
I absolutely adore this book! There are so many gorgeous home decor books that I’d love to add to my collection- so perfect for inspiration, so perfect for stacking on shelves or, you know, lying out on a coffee table. Here are a few other titles I’d love to own and may have on my Christmas list: For the Love of White: The White and Neutral Home, by Chrissie Rucker, Beautifully Organized, by Nicki Boyd, This is Home, by Natalie Walton, Made for Living, by Amber Lewis. Most in stock on Amazon ($18-$30)
Okay, there was a time when I saw this and I thought it was absolutely ridiculous. I still thought it was ridiculous when my husband first brought one home. But, for as ridiculous as it may seem, the concept of a portable sauna is pretty genius ESPECIALLY as saunas were shut down due to Covid this year. My husband steams daily after his workouts and the amount of joy it brings him, well, it might bring the same amount of joy to your husband, if he’s into that sort of thing. My husband approves 10/10. In stock on Amazon ($160)
These are my most loved and worn leggings ever! I have three pairs that I rotate through weekly (truly, there’s nothing more comfortable than a good pair of leggings for me most days!) They feel like butter and the high waist is extremely comfortable and flattering. I’m petite (only 5’2″), so I love how they come in both short and long sizes, which means for me, they truly do provide a perfect fit! Extremely durable, too, as they have withstood hundreds of wash cycles. Great for lounging or working out! Such a great price point, too. Most colors and sizes in stock on Aerie.com ($27)
We made the switch from soft to hardside luggage a few years ago and we’re never going back! We travel a decent amount, particularly Jake for work, and we love the durability of this luggage and the quad spinner wheels that make it super easy to pull around the airport. Doesn’t it just look so sleek and pretty, too? It comes in a myriad of colors as well! We have both the 28-inch (good for longer trips) and 21-inch (more of a weekender). A great gift for the traveler! In stock on Amazon. 28-inch ($144) 21-inch ($96)
Thanks for reading!
