A few years ago, we remodeled our kitchen and like a lot of projects, there were just a few small details that weren’t quite finished. There are two exterior patio doors and a laundry room door that are visible in our breakfast nook area, and I just knew that beautiful hardware pieces in the right finish and design would make a huge impact. I was beyond thrilled to partner with Grandeur Hardware to accomplish this!
I have a lot of brass tones in my kitchen space and really wanted a beautiful finish to complement the existing fixtures- the Vintage Brass tone that I picked seamlessly fits in with the other finishes in my kitchen. It’s the most gorgeous, aged tone! I always lean toward natural, vintage, and naturally aged looking pieces so this finish was an aboslute win for me! For the laundry room door, I chose an understated yet stunning pull, the Georgetown lever, with a short backplate.
For the two exterior patio doors, I wanted to make a statement- I chose a beautiful and impactful set with an elongated backplate and the Eden Prairie oval knobs. I absolutely love the timeless design and how the oval shape is just a bit unexpected! I am a firm believer in how intentional and impactful a backplate is on door hardware and honestly, it can turn a builder grade door into a work of art.
Another element that cannot be underestimated is a beautiful door hinge! Both of the exterior doors are very visible in the kitchen and even the smallest detail, like a door hinge, can be very intentional. The ball tip hinges in Vintage Brass are that perfect detail that makes everything that much more polished and impactful.
I am so beyond thrilled with these stunning door sets from Grandeur Hardware and how they’ve impacted my kitchen space. Picking a set in the right design and finish truly is a detail that shouldn’t be overlooked in a remodel. I’m so impressed with the quality, workmanship, and selection that Grandeur Hardware offers and am looking forward to incoporating more of their sets in other spaces in my home.
